"I would love to give Safeside a comprehensive review but they haven't shown up. We gave them a deposit on October 23 and have suffered through one delay after another and the last "appointment" was a no show/no call. Now we've been told mid-January but to be honest, I have to wonder what is going on. "Beware Had Safeside Chimney come to my home to do a routine chimney cleaning and it turned into a nightmare. My whole home is covered now in soot. Safeside Chimney came to my home did the chimney cleaning and left , but shortly after them leaving my wife noticed soot on floors , couches , walls and everywhere. How did the guys cleaning chimney not notice a there was an issue ? We then contacted Safeside Chimney to make them aware of this issue . I spoke with Eric who claimed he was the Ops Mgr and they would send a cleaning company out the next morning. I took the day off of work so this company DRS could come out to clean the home . This did not go as planned either however as they wanted to just wipe items with yellow microfiber rags and call it a day . I called Safeside Chimney back and spoke with Eric to make him aware I was not satisfied with the guys they had sent out to clean my home and what they were attempting to do . Eric at this point told me well that was it , like you’re on your own then . I’ve since spoke with Servpro that are experts with cleaning and minimizing damage of various hazards in a home and was told we should not even be staying in the home . I will be having Serpro come and access my home but felt anyone wanting to use Safeside Chimney should be warned to stay away . They not only caused a lot of mess but most importantly left me and my family at risk .
