"DISGUSTING !! court assigned ken to my case. I did not willingly choose ken. AWFUL, HORRIABLE, TERRIBLE, DISGUSTING. I want to share my experience so no one will go through what I went through with Ken. He cares about his grandchildren but he could CARE LESS about your children. Stay away from this person, AWFUL. I also want to add when it was my turn to talk in court he looked at me all wide eyed then would roll his eyes the most disrespectful, unprofessional not fit for the job person I have ever met. I am shocked he can hold this position with treating his clients this way. I am also informing the court of how I was treated no one should get treated this way they should not allow this person to mistreat his clients and still have job. This firm is all about the money, sad people. They take your money but don't do their job. I don't know how they get away with not doing their job and still get paid."
"Paige is an amazing attorney! An advocate for me and made sure what I wanted, which was fair and equitable, all while making sure I didn't shortchange myself out of sadness. Paige looked out for MY best interest, even when I wanted to just say forget everything. Paige took care of me and had the foresight and experience to say, I will make sure your future is secure. I have the utmost trust, respect and gratitude for her! It's been 6 years and I haven't had to go back for any other issues. I feel everything was properly addressed in one shot with my divorce! Having an attorney who genuinely took care of me, I couldn't be more grateful!"
"Paige Quilliam provided me incredible counsel during a very challenging time. She was dedicated to helping me get the fairest and most appropriate settlement I was entitled to and spent many, many hours tying down all loose ends. She was professional, firm and brilliant in court, and always had the best interest of my children in mind. I can't recommend her enough."
"My husband used Paige Quilliam based off my recommendation (which I feel awful about). My recommendation came from my cousin who is a partner in a law firm out of state. Everything went fine the first time around, which is why he sought her out a second time. I went with him this time around for moral support. I never met her previously, and honestly I wasn't the least bit impressed. The meeting felt rushed, and it lasted all of 15 minutes. I thought we would be there for at least an hour. On top of that - she charged him $200. Personally, I don't think it's in good practice to charge a returning client a fee. He's clearly there for a reason. You already had his business. But that's just my personal opinion. However, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt based on our prior experience. My husband left no details out, and told her everything he wanted done. Well, clearly I'm here for a reason. My husband can sometimes be a little inpatient, and I'm more level-headed. We complement one another very well. Nothing was happening, and he was constantly following up. She did the opposite of everything he requested, and even told the opposing lawyer things we felt gave them the upper hand in this case. She told me verbatim on a phone call that a text is not considered a contract, which I didn't believe, and found out to be false. I started to lose faith in her ability to help us. The final straw for me was when she told my husband she was waiting on a court date. We decided to meet with another lawyer at that time, and discovered that she never even filed the motion. Therefore, she couldn't be waiting on a court date. We had just about enough of her lying. We agreed at that time it was in our best interest to terminate her services. Do not waste your money on her or anyone else at this firm. My husband and I "tried" to speak with McDonnell (partner) in hopes we could come to some sort of agreement pertaining to the legal fees associated with this case. We called several times , and left several messages. Not once did he ever call either one of us back. My husband finally spoke with him earlier today, and unfortunately he didn't seem the least bit interested. This firm is clearly all about the money, and they lack compassion. We knew we had to spend money, and that it wasn't going to be cheap. What I'm not ok with is - someone taking our money who didn't do what we asked of them. Please take my review into consideration when looking for someone to represent you in a custody case. This is not the firm for you. Very disappointed clients"
"The following is a review of my experience with Paige Quilliam whom I hired to represent me in a child custody. I had previously used Paige in the same case, against the same person, with the same opposing counsel. She currently works for a different law firm and I tracked her down since she was familiar with the case. I had been attempting to communicate with my child’s mother since mid February 2018; in June I had had enough and set up a consult with Paige on 06 June. After the consult, I agreed to hire her and she said she’d be in touch. On 19 June I gave a credit card payment over the phone of $750 for her to get things moving. I had explained the situation and communicated that I wanted this brought into court so we could make some progress. I expected a motion to be filed within a few weeks, but that didn’t happen. I received a post judgement motion on 20 June to review; which probably took all of 5 minutes to type, but never got filed. I know this for a fact because when I had my consult with my new attorney on 02 August, he looked up the docket number and there was nothing in the system. During this process I expressed my concerns regarding several issues and my goals. Each time Paige conveyed those to the opposing council in a manner that I felt gave us a disadvantage. I never saw any stragety in the moves she was making to accomplish my obvectives. On 02 August I had finally had enough and terminated Paige’s representation in this case and hired another lawyer. All she did while she was representing me was make a few phone calls, send a few emails, made a half hearted attempt at a motion that she never filed with the court, and attempted to set a meeting with the opposing counsel to “discuss the matter”, which never happened. The only thing she successfully negotiated was me giving up an 8 hour block of time to the opposition, which only became an issue because I adjusted my schedule to accommodate her needs in the first place. When I made Paige aware of this and told her I had emails backing up the agreed upon changes to the schedule, she told me that it didn’t matter and I had to adhere to the original schedule. That is completely incorrect, and this 8 hour “owed block of time” became a non-issue with the new attorney. It’s my opinion that Paige never took my case seriously and took the path of least resistance in everything she did. If you need a strong lawyer who will actually stand up, make an argument and fight for you, I suggest you look elsewhere. I can only speak about my experience with Paige, but being that she’s a partner and conducts business the way she does, I don’t feel it’s far fetched to assume the rest of the firm is any better. Learn from my mistake with this firm; save yourself the time, money, and aggravation and look elsewhere. My new attorney has things rolling along in less than half the time Paige was on the case and I’m very happy with his representation thus far."
