"Horrible. I bought a $2,300 refrigerator. I walked out with a $2,600 bill. I paid for install and water line. I did not get the install or water line. When I tried to call the store, I got Guatemala national call center. THEY SAID THE STORE DOES NOT TAKE CUSTOMER CALLS! I RETURNED THE REFRIGERATOR. I will look at other stores with better customer service. Wow! I went to PC Richard's. The customer service was incredible. Not only can I call the store, but the salesman gave us a card with his cell phone number on it. Anything offered me by best buy, they matched. Best Buy offered 18 months no interest financing. PC Richard's was 6 month. They matched the 18 months with no problem!"
"I said to the very young sales associate in laptops, "Are you up for a challenge? I want a laptop with a 17-in screen, at least 32 gigs of RAM, that will support two external monitors using a video card with at least 8 gigs of dedicated memory and an i7 or i9 processor, 13th generation." He didn't even blink. He volunteered that they didn't really carry laptop workstations for business but that said, he could come pretty close. He showed me to three machines within about a minute, then answered all my questions, probably a couple of times each, and totally nailed it with an MSI machine at a great price that I could get delivered in 2 days. "Title: Unpleasant Experience as a Vendor During the Holidays I recently worked as a vendor at this store during the holiday season, and my experience with the store management was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I encountered unkindness and unprofessionalism throughout my time there. Firstly, when I sought assistance to verify pricing and promotions, the store management refused to provide any support. This lack of cooperation made it challenging for me to fulfill my responsibilities effectively. Their unwillingness to assist created unnecessary hurdles and added stress to an already demanding job. Furthermore, the rudeness displayed by the store manager Mike was completely uncalled for. Professionalism should be a standard expectation in any workplace, and it was disheartening to experience such a lack of courtesy. To my surprise and dismay, things took a turn for the worse when I was dismissed from the program at their store simply because I asked for help verifying a price. This decision seemed disproportionate and unjust, especially considering the difficulties I faced in obtaining the necessary information independently. Overall, my time as a vendor at this store was marred by a negative experience with the management. I believe that a more supportive and respectful approach from the store management could greatly improve the working conditions for vendors during busy seasons. I hope my feedback is taken into consideration for the benefit of both current and future staff members."
"I was very excited with my purchase of a smaller refrigerator to have in my basement as a second and back up refrigerator. I set up delivery in the store and the earliest they could get it to me was almost a week and a half from purchase date. Also delivery is $100. That was about half the price of the refrigerator , but I could not move it to the basement myself so I didn’t feel like walking out of the store it was an option. That afternoon I received an email from Best Buy saying I was going to need to reschedule my delivery date. When I did that online, the exact delivery date I had previously chosen was available. So that made no sense to me. Of course, you can’t actually call the store and talk to anybody so I had to call the 800 number and was on hold for 15 minutes when somebody picked up and then hung up on me immediately. Talk about frustrating! To make a very long story, a little shorter… I received three of these emails throughout the week with the last one telling me I need to reschedule my return… Which did not exist, because I was actually buying something! Each time I received one of these emails I felt I needed to call the 800 number to make sure that the delivery was still a go and each time I was put on hold for anywhere between five and 15 minutes before I could talk to somebody. I finally had had enough and asked the agent if they could do anything to compensate me for the one to two hours I had already spent on the phone on hold trying to make sure that I still had the delivery. I was told sorry, no. That was the straw that broke the camels back. I really wanted this refrigerator, but I was so sick of the hassle and the lack of care of my time. I went to the store that day and canceled my delivery and got my money back. When I told the sales agent at the store, what happened he sighed with exasperation! He and I both!"
