"This was our first experience using Fairfield Shoe Repair. We used to go to the gentleman at the Trumbull Mall but after COVID he had to move on. So we gave Miguel a try. My wife had a pair of inexpensive boots, that she loves, that needed the heal repaired. I dropped them off and later that day I received a call from Miguel. He explained that when he put pressure to the boot to repair the heal, the sole of the boot, which was, rubber split. He even took pictures to show what happened. Because he is a true gentleman, he said it was his fault and that he would repair the boot for no additional cost. When I picked up the boots it looked like he replaced both soles and even cleaned them. They looked brand new! We will definitely be back. We highly recommend Miguel and Fairfield Shoe Repair on Black Rock Turnpike next to ShopRite."

"Do not use this guy. He just takes your money and does not do anything he says he’ll do. I had to go 3 times to stretch my shoes and after going back and forth they were still exactly the same as in the beginning. I went to lower my heel. Not only he did not lower them but made them taller by changing the heel-tap to the longer ones. When I came with a measuring tape to show and prove it to him he would lie straight in my face saying that he did it. Crook."

"I brought these mesh like material sneakers to this show repair. They were cleaner than ever but for some reason the mesh shrunk the shoe and made it feel very tight after cleaning them. The owner volunteered to stretch all the shoes for free which worked great. I was able to bring several other shoes here to get fixed as well as cleaned. He went above and beyond for me. Highly recommend this place!!!!!"

"I brought a couple of boots over and he did a fantastic job. He water proofed one pair and fixed the heel and cleaned up the second pair. Both pairs were pricey and I didn’t want to replace the boots so figured I’d try to see if they can be repaired instead. He exceeded my expectations. I’m going to refer him to my friends and family and bring my others shoes there as well. I wish I took before pictures to show the difference! Fair price for quality work. Best place around the area. I highly recommend him."
