"I would not recommend David Lazan services to anyone. He was my attorney whom I hired for closing on my property in Egremont in January of 2017. I was a seller. He sent me his fee agreement and it was $1500. The attorney from entryonly web site (they were my brokers) offered me flat fee $750, but I thought keeping money for local businesses in the Berkshires is a good thing. Big mistake. My closing was delayed two times (buyers had issue with the mortgage) and the closing date was delayed twice. He essentially changed the closing date on the contract twice. This resulted my final bill to be $2700. It is $1200 overcharge!!! He did offer very little explanation and had no itemized bill at the closing and was surprised when I hard-questioned him. Honestly, I was not impressed with his work as well. Very poor communications, unprofessional, confused office help. He is a perfect example of why attorney's tend to have a bad rep. Moving forward I used services of Gail Garret who is far more professional and less expensive."
