"Owner was rude, told me me my bag was fake, I bought it my self in the high end store, keep on being a shoe cobbler not Donatella Versace"
"Great place from small repairs. Do not bring expensive shoes here."
"Don’t go here brought my white shoes for cleaning they came out all dirty bottom of my shoes were bad the material on the shoes is all coming apart. I wore the shoes once and they destroyed them $600 loss and they don’t care"
"We've driven from North Haven to Hakky for many years, and it is well worth the commute. Last night, for example, we brought five pairs of my dress shoes for repair. We figured we'd need to make the trip again to pick them up. Not only did Hakky stay open to wait for us, the work, which is always top notch, was done immediately, and, as always, at a very fair price. We could not recommend them enough. Wherever you live, get in your car and go to Hakky. You will not be disappointed."
"Completely disappointed with this place. I dropped off my Uggs to have the seam repaired. I came back that night and was charged $25. The seam was sewed sloppily and didn't match the other, but I was okay with that. Friday, I put them on to work and the seam burst. I called and asked if I can stop in for a refund or redo. When I came in Friday night, I told the worker the situation. He took out $25 then asked to examine the shoe. He said that the seam was ripped 'on the other side'. I told him it split right in the middle, exactly where it was sewn. He said he will only refund $20 because of that. I had another pair of shoes in my bag to drop off, but decided against it. Completely unprofessional, stating I ripped them myself. I never received a receipt at purchase, got no refund receipt, and he was insisting either $20 or nothing. I would not recommend this place at all. Overpriced, unprofessional, and rude. He made it seem like this was my fault."
