Achievement First Bridgeport Academy Elementary School is a public charter school located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Since opening in August 2010, we have been dedicated to providing students in kindergarten through 4th grade with a high-quality education that instills a love of learning and fosters the skills needed for success. Our school offers enrichment programs in art, physical education, and theater to enhance the educational experience.

Transportation is provided for students, and we are conveniently located near the #9 and #17 bus routes. Our school hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Fridays.

Principal Shalia Garnett leads Achievement First Bridgeport Academy Elementary School with a passion for creating a vibrant learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. She is committed to empowering staff, scholars, and families to advocate for themselves and support each other. In her free time, Shalia enjoys spending time with loved ones, volunteering, and working on personal goals.
