"The entire experience is horrible! As a consigner they are hard to make an appointment as if they are a HAUTE COUTURE house on 5th AVE which they are far from ,,,,,,they are short, uncourteous and rude on the phone and acting as they are doing you a favor. They underprice EVERYTHING and use the ebay scale as their price point. DO NOT BRING YOUR ITEMS THERE - Chappaqua and Tarry- town are much nicer and PAY BETTER. The overdone, over made up over Botoxed older women that own and or work there seem to be frustrated and impatient. Not sure if they think they are working at Henri Bendel BUT its def not the place to go BUT its def not the place to go. PS Greenwich Consignments put them to shame!"
"Made an appointment over a month ago and owner was 20 minutes late. Only interested in high end (Hermes, Chanel) not Ralph Lauren or Banana Republic…wish I knew in advance of wasting my time…"
"I love the variety of items in this store, which is why I continued to return but today was the day that broke the camel’s back. I went into the store to see if a pair of shoes that I saw and tried on a week earlier were still there. They were but to my surprise the $70 price was now double $140. I mentioned it to the salesperson who said no, they couldn’t have been because the ticket had not been changed. I told her that I came back specifically for those shoes and I am not a liar to which she responded “I am not a liar, in essence calling me one. I will not be revisiting this store. I have been overlooking the fact that I don’t receive the same level of customer service as my less pigmented counterparts, who when they enter the store are greeted with a hearty smile and welcome and advised of the color tickets that are on sale that week, but not this brown girl. Do better!!!"
"Wouldn't bother selling to them. I went in with my mom's work clothes. I walk in; there's a couple of customers inside and the cashier isn't wearing a mask! I was so surprised- I would think that a "high end" shop would really do better. She didn't put one on throughout our entire transaction. It definitely speaks to the entitled and snobish culture of the store. I could only book an appointment two weeks in advance but I was excited; I probably had about 40 pieces of pretty nice stuff and had taken time to put it all on hangers and sift through stuff that would fit the store. I was in and out of the store in six minutes. She whipped through my pile, took a phone call half-way through the transaction and didn't say goodbye to me on the way out. No mask and rude? Don't waste your time here."
"This store is awesome. Beautiful things from all designers. Service is very good. Nobody jumps on you when you enter. A big plus in my book. I’ve purchased and consigned many things. Great layaway plan. Ty"
