"I got married in October. My husband and his groomsmen’s had gone well in advance to get all the measurements done. Two suits were ready on time. One of them came with a stained tie and had to be switched out. The other THREE suits were only ready THE DAY BEFORE the wedding. This left absolutely no time to make adjustments to the suits. One of the three suits was still at the Worcester location and the groomsmen had no choice but to pick it up there or he would not have had a suit for the wedding. One of the suits was not sized correctly but what could we do when we were only able to pick it up one day before? Nothing! I would never go back to the Bonardi’s in Sturbridge ever again and I would never recommend this place to anyone!"
"I got married on 9/9 and we ordered the groom’s and groomsmen (4) suits in the in Sturbridge. When we went to pick them up (the day before the wedding), they only had 3 out of the 4 groomsmen’s suits. When we asked why they dropped the ball so badly, their response was “we assumed the 4th one wasn’t coming because we never got his measurements” even though we have a confirmation email and text for all measurements AND we even called in July to confirm they received all their measurements. Instead of owning up to their mistake, and trying to immediately fix it (since our wedding was the next day), they continued to make excuses. After *I* had to ask if we could get the 4th suit in time, they expected us to pay the full price and for the expedited shipping. The suit arrived 4 hours before the ceremony which delayed the photos. The groom was missing his bowtie and again, when we asked about it, they tried to claim that we did not order a bowtie even though the receipt said otherwise (picture attached). Additionally, my father (as in the father of the bride) also ordered his tux and shoes from here. His shoes literally crumpled as he was putting them on hours before the ceremony. He had to drive to their store to get a replacement pair and while he was there Shannon lied and told him it was our fault about the 4th suit!! Weddings are stressful enough and I understand mistakes happen, but I never received an explanation or even just an apology for everything. My husband and I both work in the event’s industry and we are always looking for preferred vendors for our clients. After this terrible experience, we will not be recommending Bonardi’s to anyone."
"My groom had to wear one of the ring bearers bow ties that I had purchased somewhere else because Bonardis was not capable of helping us. We ordered our tux for groomsmen and the groom months before the wedding. We picked them up three days before the wedding and the groom did not have the purple bow tie as requested. It had a black tie that they said we ordered. (Black tie with everyone else wearing purple, gray pants, brown shoes, brown suspenders.... nothing else black) but that’s fine we had three days before the wedding to get the purple bow tie, miscommunication happens, no big deal, we can fix it. We call, they tell us to come in the next day to pick it up. I go in the next day and was told it is still not there. I stand there with the woman while she calls the Worcester store, she tells them she ordered the purple bow tie, it didn’t come and it was marked urgent. I was reassured someone was personally going to bring it to the store and to come back the next day (our wedding day). Surprise! It’s still not there and now they are even telling us we never ordered it at all! For three days we tried to get the grooms bow tie and they couldn’t make it happen and then out right lied saying we didn’t try. So disappointed. To top things off when trying to talk to them about it we were rudely rushed out of the store. Please save yourself the drama and do your wedding business somewhere else. Little things like this are so easy to avoid and there are plenty of tux shops that are prepared to help you."
"Staff was friendly and very assistive in getting my measurements perfect. She was running the entire store by herself and really impressed me with how quick she was able to do a fitting for me and my four friends. Renting a tux is far pricier than it should be, however. Not busy at all, which was also nice."
