Tuft's Branch Valley Wildlife Sanctuary

"Nice place to go for a walk in the woods. Easy trails and big open field at top of the hill overlooking Nichols college. Dogs are welcome on a leash."

"Great little nature walk. The longest loop is around 1.5miles and took a group of young scouts about 1 hr to complete. A good mix of hills and flats with a rewarding view in the middle at the top of the hill. Very limited parking though. All it takes is one person to park badly and the 5-6 spots turn into 2-3."

"Not a bad little looping trail system, does the trick, a little scenic knoll up at the top portion.. but overall not bad, nothing crazy, but you can get a couple miles in if you go around and hit all the little trail extensions, and everything is very clearly marked, which is definitely a plus! Lots of bridges going over water/ swamp areas which is definitely good too!"

"It's a nice trail. The only problem was probably from these past few winter storms there were branches and vines down., which necessitated bending down to go under and sometimes getting pricked by thorns. Thankfully we had winter coats on. Hopefully that stuff will be cleaned up in the spring."
