"Larchmont Manor Park is a green oasis with about a 5,000-foot shoreline and spectacular views of the Long Island Sound. The 13-acre park is privately owned and maintained by a not-for-profit organisation. There are a few gazebos in the park, and they are a good place to sit and take in the views of the Long Island Sound and to listen to the waves lapping against the beautifully stripe rocks. The park and the walking paths are well maintained. I could spend the entire day chilling out in the park."

"Exquisite setting for a seaside stroll. You will be able to watch sailboats and kayaks. You won't be able to walk on the beach, or dip your toes in the water. It's all fenced off for residents only. Parking is available in the nearby streets. The architecture of the private homes close to the seafront is beautifully traditional."

"It had probably been 20 years since I've been here, and I don't think a single thing has changed. It felt like the most wonderful time warp. I love knowing this beautiful park is being well kept and well preserved. It is a complete gem. Would hang out here all day if I could."

"Gorgeous views of the Long Island sound. "Privately owned but opened to public from dusk till down" per Wikipedia. Perfect for meditation. I sat on a rock for 2 hours. Although the park was pretty full, I barely noticed anyone else around me. Mostly residents I'm guessing, but all so friendly and pleasant. There is also an security guard around...somewhere."
