Wading River Beach

"Very Rocky but beautiful. Water was crystal clear. It was a lovely place to walk for quiet contemplation. There was a small parking lot and playground with some sand but overall I can't imagine how easy it is in summer to sunbathe among the stones"

"Beautiful beach, we were exploring new beaches for sea glass. This is NOT the place to go for sea glass because this has to be the cleanest beach on Long Island! There are baskets you can pick up from the entrance to carry along with you on the beach to collect trash, then empty and leave the basket. There was no garbage, cups, straws, bottles or cans blowing around the beach. We did manage to find 4 tiny pieces of sea glass to add to our collection."

"Found this wonderful beach quite by accident. The sunsets here are amazing!! The beach is clean, there are pebbles, shells and large picturesque stones. There is a playground on the beach. There is a cafe near the beach. When we were leaving the beach for home, we saw a white-tailed deer that was in the courtyard of a house near the beach."
