"Every time we go, it is amazing. I recommend a visit during each season. The park is fairly vast so each visit can be completely different. Don't forget bug repellent. Dog friendly place, bags are a must. Also not a good place for bird feeding, there may even be a sign saying not to do so."
"Great state park. Lots of well maintained trails and a lovely little pond and waterfall area. Named after Elias Howe whose home was where the main park is. His homestead footprint still exists. Some trails are steep and gravelly while others are more moderate. Howe trails connect easily with the Depot Rail Trail"
"Great views and good trails. I wish more of the paths were marked and had better access across the water. We needed to use alltrails app to stay on our desired path at this park."
