"Awesome picnic area, fresh spring/drinking water running out of a bottle filling station 24/7, I filled up four 5gal. water jugs and brought some home. The water has a bit of an acquired taste (high mineral content) but so does the chemicals in our public drinking water so... Rest of the park is beautiful."
"This spot has been recommended to me by several other people and rightfully so. The area has picnic tables and a solar powered restroom, though it is not very large. There are several trails to take in the park and large fields if you want to play any sports or activities. The picnic area is just in view of the river and makes for a lovely lunch spot! A tip: keep driving down the dirt road of the entrance until you reach the yellow trail. There is a little beach area there were the river is very weak if you have little ones."
