"Plenty of room for dogs to run and for people to walk. Little creek in the back if dogs want a drink plus a water fountain for dogs in the warm season. An area away from the open field is for smaller dogs."
"My favorite dog park, everyone knows each other and truly kind dog lovers. I feel safe bringing my pets here."
"decaying infrastructure, the grass is kinda sad in places, a shadow of what it was and could be. Like a lot of things here, to be honest. It's clear priorities are elsewhere but where those priorities are isn't clear either. warning for dogs that scare easily: a lot of people dont seem to notice the "all dogs must be on leash in this area" part of the park. it will not be safe for you dog. 3/5 stars. the drinking fountain has a foot level faucet for dogs, and it even works. -1 star for the AED station that's been empty for two years even when you call the number on it. I'm telling you, the town isn't thinking about the people. cool dogs though. i bet half of them cost more than my car."
"My dog loves it here. Lots of people gather for off leash playtime and trail walking. Everyone has been friendly so far and the dogs have been well behaved. The park is huge with lots of trails. It feels safe to have my dog off leash which is nice. There's good coffee nearby at the Granola bar and plenty of parking."
"As a professional dog walker working in Fairfield, I find this is the only designated park I enjoy taking both my own dogs and my clients dogs. There is plenty of “open space” within the park creating a feeling of freedom to pets that cannot be replicated in a simple fenced in area. This park has both wooded hiking trails as well as a central area for dogs to socialize and play yet not feel trapped within a small space. Incidents are rare and most everyone is mindful and alert to their dog. There is a very nice water fountain and plenty of dog bags for no cost. I highly recommend this park as a true treasure in Fairfield County."
