"Despite several signs with $500 fire warnings. People leave trash here. I picked up several cans and bottles that were steps from the trash can and the waters edge. Otherwise it is a nice place."

"Great little spot to take the kids to jump in the water in this hot summer days, fishing is pretty good, and you can also drop a kayak or a canoe, the water is pretty clear and some areas are very shallow"

"More commonly known as Cat Beach by the locals, this is a really cool place to have hidden off of River Rd. I’ve enjoyed coming and having many a beer over the last few years. It can be a tranquil little spot overlooking the bustling Springfield downtown area, and if you’re lucky you may get to enjoy a bon fire!"
