"A fire earlier this summer destroyed part of one of the brick mill building, and for some time has effected/limited access to a few of the best swimming spots. Wherever you plan to swim park at the designated parking area, with space for four or five vehicles, located across the bridge, at the end of Tekoa Avenue. Parking anywhere else can result in being hit with a fifty dollar fine issued by Town of Russell police, who regularly patrol the area."
