"It was awesome here that the trial is not overgrown, and there are not many bugs. The water is Kool to look at and it is very beautiful"
"I was 13 when I started hanging around down with friends there was no parking lot, no signs it was always clean, no people going there, it was a nice relaxing area. When I was younger that Stone Wall used to be a bridge, the red building across the street used to have square dancing, the little brick building across the river used to have a wooden water wheel on the side which wasn't working then either. When I was much older my daughter and I would bring my grandkids down to the river in their stroller. On a day I wanted to relax and have peace and quiet my friend and I would go down to the river and sit on the rocks. That was all before people started going there and making a mess of the river, that's when I stopped going there."
"Nice early spring walk up the river side. 1st timer. Populated a tad more than I am used to, having just moved from north western mass, but everyone was friendly, smiling and enjoying the beautiful day. Met some quacky friends"
"Nice walk for everyone! Took my dogs and my parents and although there are a bunch of roots sticking up throughout the trail, it’s beautiful. Plenty of parking!"
"It's beautiful (when visitors clean up after themselves). It's very disheartening to visit and the place is covered in garbage with soiled diapers and baby wipes hidden in trees. Bless the locals for going down with bags on a daily basis during the summer months, cleaning up the area and preserving its beauty for all. It's really a shame when visitors leave it looking like the morning after a keg party."
