Reviews of Trolley Bed Preserve
"I have walked this trail many times once you start hitting the rocky area is quite tough on your feet and if you venture all the way to the end it's quite difficult as there are deep ridges all the way down and you have to walk kind of sideways on these side slopes... again painful for your feet if you have injured feet like I do! It is a tree lined walk however because of the bodies of water around the area there are many bugs! For me it's a plus as I don't live far away from it."
"This is my absolute favorite walk in the area–and one of my favorite places overall! The long, straight primary trail is flat, so it doesn't take much muscle. It's flanked by bubbling brooks and rivers. It's around 1 mile end-to-end. Halfway through, there's a lovely pond with ducks and beavers and so many birds. And the trees and other fauna that flank the path are breathtaking. Dogs are allowed—most people let theirs off-leash if they're friendly. (I've never had a problem with a dog while walking here. Mine is friendly. Other owners are friendly and responsible.) It is very rocky and can be muddy in spots, so it's not accessible for wheelchair users. And there are no benches or places to rest other than fallen logs and such. A treasured gem!"
"Can be muddy but a good loop with some small hills. Ponds and rivers along the way are pretty. You can choose to go straight if you want a flat walk and turn around."
"Lovely trail maintained by the Eagle Scouts... wish the side paths were marked, but it is a nice ramble in beauteous woods and there is a sharing library at the start. Very peaceful..."
