"I grew up in Seymour and it was a delight to visit and see the renewal and focus on a lovely natural landmark. We walked along the paved greenway, read the historic sign and checked out the fish ladder. I remember the condition of the river in the 1970s. BRAVO to Seymour for the restoration and public access. I will visit again. It made me miss Seymour."
"Nice place to go if you like to see water moving."
"It was just as beautiful and peaceful as before. I love walking here."
"peaceful and fun to sit at, lots of great photo opps, and a few pokestops. water used to come crashing fast, then it was dried up for a while, but now it's a peaceful stream."
"I enjoy sitting here at lunch. Unfortunately the fish bypass is closed. There’s a sign that states there is a design flaw that is going to be corrected by April 2020. The water was low today which is kind of cool in my opinion because you can see more of the intricate structure of the original construction. Anyhow it’s a cool place in Seymour to spend a half hour relaxing. There’s plenty of parking. Enjoy!"
