"Easy accessed section of the beautiful and large People's State Forest. Spacious flat grass fields come before the wooded area of tall trees that line the Farmington River. There is one sandy path that provides easy access to the River here and other spots where views of the river can be seen. A nice spot to walk your dog, hike, eat or relax. Asphalt parking lot, picnic tables, a pavilion and modern bathroom facilities are at this location."
