"My son is a timid skier and struggled to advance past the bunny hill in other resorts or even get on the chair lift unassisted. We specifically came here because of the Nutmag trail and the short distance chair lift. Nutmag trail is really a longer bunny hill that fills this gap perfectly and gives my son the confidence to advance to steeper hills. This is the oldest ski area for that region and you can tell by the clear signage everywhere. There are free bag checking so the dining area is more organized. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Chair lift attendants are observant and slows the lift down for beginners. There are free water bottle fill station near the restroom."
"Ten years ago, this place was awesome! It doesn't seem like too much has changed, but the prices are going up. If the full mountain is open, I think it could be worth it. But paying full season price to only ride two trails is a little much in my book. Employees are always polite and nice. Haven't had a bad experience here yet."
"Wow! I've lived in CT. all my life, and I finally visited Mohawk Mountain. I came here with my wife, son, and daughter. What a great family ski area. My first impression driving in was that for the size of the mountain, they have some really great terrain. The lodge is beautiful, the trails are fun, and the grooming is great. We went after a late season snowfall of 18", so we even got to ski in the trees a little bit. I liked it so much that I went back the following week with a friend. This is my new favorite "local" mountain. (Even though it's an hour away). I will be back for sure. One edit, I forgot to mention that the staff was fantastic. Everyone from ticketing, lodge, downstairs ski shop, to lift attendants. Great job! Keep up the great work."
"What a great time We went as a big family. My mother and father surprised us and my wife and I brought our son and my sister brought my brother-in-law and her three girls. There was 10 lanes that went down a hill for tubing. The waiting wasn't bad. The kids had a blast. I've been skiing at Mohawk since I was three and it made me want to put my skis or snowboard on and go take a cruise down one of the trails. For adults and kids that are older try lanes 9 and 10 were the fastest. We did reserve the time slot ahead of time and paid and it was well worth it. We had plenty of parking since we have been there before. It wasn't hard at all and the tubing is all the way to the left. Once you walk onto the snow on the mountain It's at the bottom of the mountain all the way to the left and there's a small lodge with hot chocolate and stuff for the children or for the adults to warm up. I love it there! My son is 4 and 1/2 and he mastered the magic carpet holding his own tube as you can see in the pictures. It's like a conveyor belt that you stand on to bring you to the top. It's a lot of fun. I recommend this"
