"I just had one of the most disgusting experiences I’ve ever had in a store and it’s apparent given the existing reviews for this store that there are significant employee issues. My boyfriend and I came in and I grabbed two things to try on while I was still looking. An older blonde woman asked me if I wanted a fitting room and I said not yet but she proceeded to grab the things anyway. I then picked up two sweaters and I was trying to look for shorts to match. She came back trying to take them to the fitting room and I said that I was just trying to find shorts to match if she could give me more time, to which she arrogantly replied “well there’s a queue for the fitting room”. I shook my head a little bit to myself, shocked by her aggression, while she walked back behind the desk, where her and her coworkers proceeded to LAUGH at me and go “well it’s just going to be one of these days” and talk about me. I was already hesitant on coming shopping today because I didn’t feel great and this led me to immediately put the items down and leave the store in tears. It ruined my entire day and now I can’t even get the several items I was interested in. I can’t believe nothing has been done about these woman’s attitudes given they are clearly loosing the businesses sales and clients because of it. If the workers today see this, shame on you for leading your life with such unkindness."
"Had the weirdest experience here yesterday- walked in, and went to the back where the out of season black dresses would be. The apparent sales person (brown hair, bangs) at the dressing rooms was on her phone, gave me a scowl, and then followed me back there. She pretended to look out the window or at her phone but I think she was just watching ME. So bizarre. I dropped a hanger and she looked at me like I was a piece of garbage. I had no idea she was an employee until that point because she rudely offered me a dressing room. The older female manager also ignored me. 2 stars because the person checking me out was nice and I got the dress I needed."
"I arrived at the greenwich Club Monaco store at 5:50pm on Saturday to return a gift I had received. The stores lights were on and multiple employees were inside, but the door was locked. Because their website said they closed at 7pm, I was confused and after waiting a bit I called the store to see if the door was locked mistakenly. The employee that answered the phone said they were open till 6 (it was still before 6 when we were talking) but that they couldn’t accept a return because the register was closed. Only thing I could do was drive an hour round trip another day to return the clothes (they weren’t willing to take the clothes and receipt to process another day either)."
"I've often walked in with my mother many times and had usually been greeted with warm hellos. However this time there seemed to be a manager? Or some sort of older women who was in charge. I walk in and she walks over to front to not greet my mother and I but greets the white women next to us without even glancing at us. We continue to walk around and I hold some clothing for my mother, and again she asks the white women next to us if they want a fitting room and doesn't even acknowledge us being right there with clothes. We tan in front of the fitting rooms hoping for someone to help us and luckily this kind man asked if we needed a fitting room, he asks if the clothing in this fitting room belong to us and we say no. So he removes them and puts them in the next one. In THIS case that lady magically acknowledges the fact we are there and proceeds to walk over and feels comfortable to shout out to my mother "ma'am, ma'am!". I guess she assumed we were the ones who removed that clothing as I she apparently started that fitting room for someone els. We go to check out and again, doesn't acknowledge us once again, and as we are paying she is hovering over and made this whole experience feel racially motivated. Not sure if because we were Hispanic she assumed we were window shopping. Not sure what gave her the entitlement as a manager working at club Monaco to think she was above above us?"
"I have been walking shop to shop to find a dress for my graduation, but finally found one from Club Monaco thanks to Minnie! the best sales person and the stylist I have met ever!!! she even taught me what shoes goes with the dress and all the other details with specificity. Love her!!!"
