"JC Models of CT is such a great company to work with with, especially for beginning models and actors! My 10 yr old daughter is a fashionista and loves to entertain, so we reached out. From the start of our experience, the new faces agent who contacted us was nothing but helpful in getting my daughter set up. She also maintained a high level of professionalism as well as provided tangible evidence of the agency’s booked work/track record. My daughter went through a small group online audition process. Afterwards, we received notice that she was accepted into the modeling and acting school. My daughter has just completed the modeling portion and will follow-up with acting after the summer. "I started with JC during the Summer of 2022. Since then I’ve gone through their modeling training and have been able to work with several bridal shops. I was able to start with paid jobs as soon as a month after completing the training. The JC team is super friendly and is always responsive. Lisa at the front desk is so wonderful and Chloe, who works with new models, is amazing as well. Tina is great about making sure she connects with active models to provide feedback and help us take things to the next level. While I’m still pretty new, I’ve had really wonderful experiences so far! I’ve read a lot of comments complaining that the agency is “all about the money.” I’m not sure why that’s a bad thing. It’s a competitive industry that is based on aesthetics and professionalism. Investing in yourself means investing in your success. The more money their models and actors make, the more money the agency makes. It’s simple logic. I think sometime people forget that they’re basically starting a whole new career and success doesn’t happen overnight. You do some volunteer shows the same way other careers have internships. They’re resume building opportunities. Building a successful career takes years of dedication and the journey looks different for everyone."
