"You get what you pay for! Very good gym and for me, go to a gym where I can leave my kids playing while I’m working out it’s perfect! Kids Academy has the best managers ever. Ali and Francesca are always on top of everything to make sure our kids are safe and happy! I love them so much!!!"
"Been a member for many years. Same experience as some of the other reviews. Started out nice but they continue to hire people who care about being on their cell than the paying customer. The individuals working in the Cafe are rude and disrespectful. This Westwood facility is awful and poorly managed. Seems they go through GM's on a regular basis."
"Place has fallen apart for years. Stopped being a luxury gym a couple years ago. More of a daycare w some gym equipment. New General Mgr every few months. No idea what to expect 1 day to the next."
"They keep raising their monthly dues, they keep removing gym equipment, and the arrangement of the equipment makes no sense. The gym itself lacks a lot of the basics, and they changed their kids academy hours during the day, 8-12 and 4-8 where they used to be all day, and they no longer open at 4am Friday - Sunday. This isn’t the original lifetime that opened where the members came first and foremost and what makes sense for bringing a “luxury” health club to the area. Very disappointing. Corporate greed seems to be the direction they’re going over a strong business model that is customer service based. They’re saving $ where they can while charging more for less luxury and less amenities. I highly recommend the the GM get more equipment like Peabody has and rearrange the location of the machines. They have a leg press in front of a mirror and a squat rack against a window? The fly machines are way too close to the pull-up machine. They need a larger dumbbell area and more benches. There is a lot of wasted space. Who up the corporate ladder was hired to arrange the equipment like this? With as much money as this company brings in, they could do a whole lot better with what they offer in the gym. They made a large opening for people to walk to pickle ball and removed gym equipment months ago and never replaced it. This is a GYM first and foremost and should be the focus. The locker rooms are also not that clean, and the lockers themselves are filthy inside and the locks always get stuck even if you enter right combo. It’s not worth the price. As a “luxury” club that charges over $250/month they need to do BETTER Lots of frustrations with this gym."
"I was a member of Lifetime when they first opened, and it was an amazing experience. Everything was clean, neat and organized. Over this past summer, I started going back to Lifetime in hopes of fall in love with the gym again. Needles to say, my expectations were not met. For a gym that charges as much as it did, you are expecting a level of professionalism and a clean gym. During the summer I noticed the gym become messy and dirty to the point that I felt the need to send an email. I do acknowledge management addressing the issue, however if you admit not having the staffing required to meet your expectations and giving your members what they deserve (clean gym), then you should lower your price. Take a look at the photos attached, and they will speak for themselves. When you look, ask yourself is that the level I expect for the amount of money I am charged. Again, I understand staffing is difficult in every business, however if you are aware of the issue and fail to improve a deficiency then why charging full price? I really wanted Lifetime to be the gym I loved when it first opened, but it continues to disappoint. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere."
