"First of all, you shouldn't be looking in Google reviews to find a good acting school. But if you have let me tell you that this place is the salt of the earth when it comes to stage craft. When I started my journey into this craft 10 years ago I had come across sooo many money hungry machines that did not care about or have any standing for or in this industry. Then I found HB. Solid classes with solid acting professionals. Not only have I started to uncover the iceberg which is the learning process but I'm having fun while doing it!!! and while it's true that any classes only as good as its teacher ,, HB has.MANY talented professionals teaching there. I have been fortunate and privileged enough to work under some of my favorite actors of stage and screen , all while cultivating the Hagen Technique. To be clear nobody is going to learn how to become an actor by taking one class; but, if you are serious about developing stagecraft technique this is definitely the place you want to go. This place has been a blessing to me in my life."

"As an actress for many years HB Studio has been a staple of my ongoing training in acting. The class offerings are extensive and the instructors, well known actors in film/tv/stage are top shelf. I completed British RP & Cockney accent class, Acting for TV class and just yesterday a Shakespeare Basics class. The British accent class and the Acting for TV class were taught by actors from the Yale School of Drama. My instructor for Shakespeare Basics was the well known tv/film/stage and Shakespearean actor Daniel Pearce (you can look him up on IMDB). This school will always keep me on my path in between tv/film/stage jobs. The very best. It's great for the novice actor as well as the veteran."

"I attended an acting class as an auditor, I really enjoyed the professional atmosphere of the class, the class was lead by Vincent Pastore and Maureen Van Zandt, I was impressed by the information and level of experience that they were able to share, each class member did a monologue and their expert advice and concern for the students was priceless, I highly recommend the class, I also felt the studio had the right atmosphere and was a comfortable environment, I also found parking pretty easily on a Tuesday night on the street, which was a big plus in NYC"
