"While the deals are fantastic, the staff used to be friendly and had a sensibility about baby-gift purchasers. The person who checked me out today did not demonstrate care for the items purchased. I purchased for over $140 and he put all the clothes, almost squished them, in a small bag and the way it was handed over was less than pleasant. It was interesting to note in his badge that he has more than 5 years of experience. I didn’t trust the other reviews until I experienced it first hand myself. This is not how it used to be pre Covid!"

"Racist, lied and said they do not give store credit on items purchased as a gift for my children. The white women before me was given store credit. Will definitely not be spending any money at carter's. I was treated as if I couldn't afford anything in the store."

"The staff in this story are usually very friendly and helpful. Yesterday was quite an exception. Besides not even cracking a smile, the salesgirl was rather abrupt and insisted that story credit be redeemed immediately upon returning an item without a receipt. I don’t ever recall having to redeem store credit immediately. Better tell your employees to be nicer to customers. She was downright unprofessional and unfriendly."

"Great deals lately and was able to get extra 20% off total because of rewards so check your email when you plan to make a visit! Staff is very quiet, barely greets, store is pretty organized, extremely limited shoe selection that is very expensive(i ended up going to target and found better shoes at a better price for baby)"
