"Great family pool and tennis club. Very much focused on swimming and swim culture. Steeped in tradition and run by board members which are voted on annually by the members. Always looking to improve the grounds and family experience. Different membership prices based on usage of club makes it very reasonable. Club has a max number of memberships so you have to contact them early in the spring to get in. Full household memberships includes grandparents and babysitter which is awesome for the summer when you have to work and your kids are off. Kids are with their friends swimming all day. Cove Deli runs the snack shop on premises. Highly recommended for Wethersfield families."

"Place is horrible. It’s divided between the haves and the haves not with extreme politics. Basically if you are schmoozey with a board member you get a ton of perks plus close parking. If you are a regular family, you get treated like dirt. You park far away and need to walk down a lengthy secluded path in the woods. You kids are last for all activities and class. The few umbrellas are taken by the board member groups or their friends who go in before opening. The bathrooms are rarely cleaned. It is common to see dirt and debris in the pool. Also, they are expensive. Other clubs in surrounding towns offer comparable memberships for half the price. The parties are a riot. A lot of the board, the entertainer, and other select family members disappear into the parking lot. They reappear 10 minutes later with red cups and smiles on their faces. A little liquid lunch and they are happy. Oh so childish and High schoolish with double standards. And then they fee you to death, want you to work for free, and the limit what your kids can eat at the parties. The board has all of the control and you have no say although they sell it as a member run club. Mind you, that you have no voice at all. If you are into politics, if high school was greatness for you, and if you are phoney, this is the place for you."
