Bodies In Motion Dance Studio

Bodies In Motion Dance Studio, located at 200 Old Lyman Road in South Hadley, Massachusetts, first opened its doors in 1990. We offer high-quality dance instruction in a welcoming and nurturing environment. Our studio is like a second home to us, and we are passionate about sharing the joy of dance with our students and their families.

At Bodies In Motion, we offer a variety of dance classes, including ballet and pointe. No dance experience is necessary, and parents are welcome to join in the fun! We prioritize individualized placement for each dancer to ensure the best fit for their skill level and goals.

Our studio is currently closed for regular classes, but company dancers may have rehearsals scheduled. We do not post a set schedule of classes as we adjust based on enrollment each year. This flexibility allows us to cater to the needs of our dancers and provide the best possible experience.

Dancers are expected to wear appropriate dancewear for classes, allowing for proper evaluation of their movements and technique. We also have specific requirements for costumes, tights, and shoes for our annual Showcase in May. Class discounts are available for enrolling in multiple classes.

If a dancer misses a class, we do not offer refunds but provide options for makeup classes. We understand that conflicts may arise with other commitments, and we are happy to work with dancers to accommodate their schedules.

In addition to classes, we also offer birthday party packages where children can enjoy fun dance activities led by our staff. We provide all necessary supplies and take care of setup and cleanup, allowing parents to relax and enjoy the celebration.
