"Awful experience. If you order furniture to be shipped, this is what you get. We ordered a table from them back in July for shipping. They quote 10-14 weeks lead time. We received the table after 16 weeks. The table was delivered in a freighted wooden box that is nailed shut. Nowhere on their website do they say this is how deliveries are done. We had to open the freighted box and assemble the table. We had to call them just to receive the assembly instructions. Then, we had to schedule a pickup for the freighted container. They do not state any of this on their website. When we finally unboxed and assembled the table, we noticed the tabletop was sent with a gouge and a scratch on it. I let their shipment manager, Todd, know and he did not seem to care. He was all hung up on the fact that we were upset that they did not communicate the shipping method clearly. They do not care that we received a damaged product from them. He offered me a 5% discount or a step stool. The table is going to cost much more than that to be professionally repaired/refinished. For thousands of dollars, this was a headache and an awful experience all around. Highly unprofessional and extremely disappointed. I definitely do not recommend."

"The chairs and table my parents bought from Hunt 70+ years ago are still holding up well. We picked up our new "Cracker Barrel" style chairs today and they are lovely! Now we will have enough seating for guests!"

"Back in the 1990s, we furnished our home with Hunt Country furniture, and certainly have no regrets. As I write this I am sitting in a Hunt Windsor chair, with my laptop resting on a Hunt Cherrywood trestle table and across the room I see our Hunt Country wood-frame couch. We have never had a furniture joint fail, or even become loose. All our furniture has worn nicely, and every ding in the finish has its story. One of our dogs climbed on top of the trestle table the first day we got it, and scored it thoroughly as he scrambled around on top of the pristine cherry finish. I can look at those deep claw marks with fond amusement now. I was very pleased to learn that the Hunt factory has reopened, and look forward to adding some new pieces to our collection."

"After 30 + years and numerous moves our Hunt Country furniture looks as good as the day we purchased it. The quality and craftsmanship is unsurpassed. I recently called Hunt to replace a knob on one of my dresser drawers that I had damaged. The owner could not have been more helpful. Not only did he still have the part for a 30 year old dresser but was sending it out that day. These days, it's incredibly difficult to find the quality product and the service you'll find with Hunt. I could not be happier with our furniture and hope to own it for another 30 years. Thanks Mike"

"I, like so many people were sad to hear that the Hunt Country Furniture factory was closing about a year ago. Searching the internet last night (1/4/18), I found that the factory was re-opened and is back fully making the furniture I had grown to love! The outstanding quality, craftsmanship, and fit of dovetail drawers that have matching wood type drawers inside is second to none. I ordered one missing bedroom nightstand that matches my other pieces immediately. I am so looking forward to getting the Huntington 3 drawer nightstand in Cherry! Upon receiving I will look to add other pieces."
