"I do love to visit North Bergen pool with my family and after 6 years I do continue to get the membership however on Sunday 9/4 there was no control at all. The lifeguards had no control of the pool especially the baby/kid pool. I can say four different stories on how people in my family got hit with either a croc shoe that a child was throwing around, squirted in the face with a water gun or just hit with some other child’s toy. I completely understand when it is an accident and a child hits you or splashes you I mean it’s a pool but in these situations there was absolutely no parents around. I cannot go to other pool because my son is a baby in diapers so I have to stay there with my toddler and preschooler. The lifeguards literally just sit there and do absolutely nothing. I do recall one time when a lifeguard would say watch the ball etc but they do nothing. Now they have adult swim where the children need to get out of the pool. And of course I remove my children from the pool however these other children kept running in the pool and the parents are doing nothing about it!!! Meanwhile my daughter is following the rules and watching these kids playing in the pool. The lifeguard said that he was tired of telling the parents to keep the children out. Like what!!! When I go to other pools they have strict regulations that if you do not follow they will remove you. They don’t even allow toys! Which is so smart because you won’t have accidents of people getting hit! What in the world is happening!! The baby pool isn’t a place where you drop off your 7 or 8 year old and don’t watch them. And of course they do this because it is allowed. How is this okay! Reconsidering my membership next year which sucks because it used to be a great place to take my kids."
"This is one of the worst pools I have ever went to, their service is horrible and their staff treats people horribly. When I wanted to enter the 16 year old section that is only 6 feet deep they said I have to be 16 even thought I’m 15 and they want me to enter the kidy pool. The other pool is only 4 feet deep and the doesn’t even reach my chest. When it started raining they kicked everyone out and they didn’t even give us a chance to change in the bathroom me and my family are currently sick cause we couldn’t change and it was a 30 minute ride home and we were still wearing our socked clothing. Also when I went to the pool I stayed for less than an hour then they kicked us out because of the rain and I payed $40 and they refused to give us a refund. And their “slide” is even worse the area for the slide is only 2 feet deep and it horrible cause when u go down it u hit the floor and it could cause injuries.I do not recommend going to that pool because honestly it’s the worst pool I have ever went to in my life."
"Very clean and pleasant environment to take your kids. You do need a membership or to live in the area. If you live in the area you can pay $10 to get in."
