About the Business
2-4-1 Sports is an institution located at 1429 Park Street in Hartford, Connecticut, United States. We follow the principles of the American Development Model and Long Term Athlete Development, making us the premier Sport Sampling program in North America. In a time where unstructured play for kids is becoming scarce, we believe in putting the fun back into sports through sport sampling. By giving kids choice and voice in the sports they participate in, we aim to foster physical literacy, confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love for staying active. From participating in sports they love to discovering new ones, our kids can't wait for the next 2-4-1 camp to start. Some time in January, when we begin planning for the next summer, they ask: "When can we sign up? Have we signed up?" There is no greater compliment to the crew who run 2-4-1 than that the camps feel like big events and our kids can't wait for their arrival.
