Reviews
"This review is for the mens/boys locker room at the pool. In the morning of Sunday 2/4/24 the 2nd day of Middies swim meet, the locker reeks of urine at an unbearable level. Trash is overflowing even with an extra garbage can. Out of 6 showers 4 are broken without knobs. They should really install some new shower knobs and hire a janitor when they have a busy meet."
"I have been with the YWCA Swim School for the past few years with my two children. There was a point where it was rough but we stuck it out due to the lovely staff and I can say that there has been such a positive change. The instructors and lifeguards are wonderful and the continued progress in my children's swimming is great. I am so happy we stuck with them. Give this swim school a chance....you will not be disappointed!!!"
"Gymnastics class for 4-5 yo is the worst! There is only one teacher with an assistant (who just stands around and doesn’t do much) and about 10 kids so all the kids just pretty much stand looking confused about what they should be doing. My kid was so confused that she started crying and my heart just broke in pieces. I wanted to run inside and help her out because the teacher was just helping out his favorites i guess. It’s not really a great place for kids to interact or have fun, they are just robots standing and waiting for directions while the teachers are not interested in getting to know the kids at all. Anyway, just another money making business. Another fact to consider is it’s great for moms who just want to drop the kids off and chit chat with other moms about random stuff like their husbands travelling or covid related topics, my ears were hurting from forced listening. I don’t want to know ladies and please keep it down or take it outside all your boring stories!"
"Hands down THE worst place to receive swim lessons for your child in Westchester. I have 3 kids. We have been to a few of the well know schools that are solely children swim schools. This staff are clueless children who look very lost and confused. No notices when teacher is absent you just show up and they either send you home or try to have a random lifeguard do the class. Zero organization and completely incompetent. I paid extra for priority JUST for swim classes what a waste"
"My kid recently told us the teacher smacked them and because they didn't have any marks on them nothing became of it, not even from CPS. Always believe your child. We immediately pulled them out and found a better daycare, with cameras too. They refuse to put cameras in classrooms to protect the children and I believe it's due to the fact theyre so short staff they cant afford to lose anyone. Don't send you're children here."
