"These people do sell a bunch of fake overpriced, low quality, rejected garbage in their stores. They lack basic morals and principles. They are uncaring towards their customers and their employees. They lack sincerity and humanity, thus they hire the most vile, insidious, narcissistical, incompetent and unprofessional rejects for Gms, the likes of Eddie-Dementia and others, to use as their cat's paw to cut corners and cheat both employees and customers. Don't ever ever ever go to work at the Jamaica branch, unless you want to be antagonize, demoralize and dehumanize by Eddie-Dementia. Oh, don't think that complaining is going to change anything, the owners are the architects behind the Gms. As long as the Gms can cut corners and cheat to save the company a buck or two at any cost whatsoever, their are free to act with impunity. If, as a customer, the low-level employees treat you like they are unhappy, angry, and depressed, know that the oppressive, abusive and backward Gms are to be blamed. They forced the employees to follow the customers around in the stores because everyone is deemed a thief in their eyes. Oh, and you will notice that only the most docile simpletons work at their stores, persons who are assertive and know their rights are not tolerated, thus the lack of diversity amongst their employees. Always check your items before paying because they would intentionally put damaged items to sell amongst the good merchandise, e.g water damaged clothing, which were dried and items returned for defects etc, and your money will not be refunded. Better off taking your money elsewhere. Don't say you weren't warned."
"Spectacular service from the supervisor who was able to fix an issue I had with an incomplete return ticket from the Flatbush location. She called them and rectified it over the phone allowing me to have a seamless exchange process. Spectacular service! Which is so unexpected for Cookies. She went above and beyond. I was uber grateful!!!"
"If I can give this store a NEGATIVE CERO! I would. Customer service is HORRIBLE! I went to buy school uniforms and I had an awful experience. Sad part is was the owner itself... I opened a package of 1 shirt, for my son to try on because they didn't have a display on the clothing material that I needed ... We put the item back because it didn't fit well, Can you believe the owner of this location came and put that shirt that I DIDN'T longer NEED in my bag and SECRETLY charged for it at the register, because it was opened !!! He never came up to us to explain absolutely anything, he just went and did what he did. I was so confused on why he would do such a thing so disrespectful.... I immediately apologized for opening it, but I didn't want the item and he got extremely disrespectful and had the audacity to curse at us (CUSTOMERS) in front of everyone. He is white complexion, with blue or green eyes about 5'4...I'm describing him so y'all be aware, these people are money hungry... so glad I'm NOT RETURNING HERE."
"Had what I needed and it was a quick and easy trip to cookies. Only thing is I have to go back and exchange my daughter's christening outfit because I noticed the fringe is messed up on the bottom of her dress. Otherwise it has everything and I will be back!"
"Cookies has the best selection of kids apparel in NYC. If you are looking for children's clothing for any location they have it. Their prices are reasonable and have generally good customer service. I highly recommend the store and have only see a few points for improvement. For example, they need a new elevator to improve accessibility."
