Located at 74 Edgerton Street in Darien, Connecticut, this institution offers online classes for students starting on their 16th birthday. The required Parent/Student Class is the first class, which must be attended by one parent with the student. Driving lessons include four 2-hour sessions, all beginning and ending at Fresh Green Light facilities. Please note that there is currently a 4-5 week wait for driving lessons. The 30-hour course is divided into 15 two-hour classes, which are all offered online through Zoom. Students can attend up to four hours of class per day on weekends, summers, and school holidays. The institution also offers an 8-hour class for individuals 18 years and older. Driving lessons must be scheduled online through the Student Center, and a strict 24-hour cancellation policy is enforced. The DMV requires the use of a Fresh Green Light vehicle for the road test, which can be scheduled at any of their locations. Upon passing the road test, students will receive a temporary driver's license.

"A MUST. Cannot recommend enough. My suggestion is to do the 30 hour course. They teach you exactly what you need to know for the road test- including back in, K turn, etc. Taking the road test at FGL is a breeze. You take it in the Green Light car and the route is much easier than at the DMV."
"Great job in classes and in-car driving lessons were very good. The DMV official was very difficult over starting the road test with construction in the area and Green Light people were able to quickly relocate the test to another nearby location. Honestly, I think the DMV official just didn't want to give the tests that day and dug up a reason. Green Light handled it incredibly well and quickly. This was especially important since it was over February break so it was one of the few times kids could take the test without missing school."
