"I have been a loyal customer of this particular Big Lot in Derby because of the very courteous staff here. They are all very consistently helpful. The store is always clean. There is only one item lacking: There are either no or incorrect prices on some items and it's becoming increasingly annoying. No one wants to lug a huge package of paper towels from the rear of the store to the register and then wait in line to find out the price! From a scan of prior reviews, other customers shared the same concern. Once this is fixed, this store earns a 5 star rating!"

"It was funny, we stopped in just looking for yard decorations but saw tge new Gazebos and gas firepits. We walked out of there spending almost $3,000.00 but if we had bought elsewhere it would have been almost double."

"Really friendly staff! Very helpful! They have everything at good prices except no clothes. Smart! You can literally set up a whole house or apartment at this one stop! Beds, mattresses, couches and living room set with recliners, outdoor patio furniture and cushions, curtains, rods, bedding, towels, cleaning supplies, and even some food. Great easter baskets and some good holiday stuff. Also sine health and beauty stuff. Take away the clothes departments from the once popular Ames store and its very similar. I became a member to get points with every purchase and coupons to my email. It was free and I am going back to buy a livingroom set. They have them in stock and they have swatches of different colors they show you if you want to order a custom one from the swatches. Check this store out! Update: We ordered one custom and will take 3-4 weeks to come in. You pay in full first. We would have just taken the brown set but we wanted a lighter color."
