"My time at ADE (roughly 1984-1999) holds some of the best memories and moments of my life. Lifelong friendships, memories and laughter of people who are no longer with us, and easily the best training there is for young dancers. The focus is on support, work ethic, self confidence, and the art of dance. Never once did a competition become the priority over how we treated our classmates and the studios we were dancing "against." Respect and support were number one. The shared love of dance was something we celebrated at every event. I found myself at ADE, and those values and lessons shaped who I am today. Alicia, Sue, Nettie, and Kate have always been family.
