"Beautiful facility. Every seat is up close to the action. Plentiful concessions and rest rooms."
"I have been to multiple games here now, both men’s and women’s, men’s the band does sit directly behind the goal, which splits the student section in half. This does definitely ruin some of the student energy, they rarely even attempt chants. The women’s games however there is no band, which does allow the announcer / speakers to play music. Not many students come to the women’s games which is a shame. Overall nice stadium, but the concrete stairs were cracked at the first game I attended (the third game), and I agree with another review the concessions seem to be an after thought. There are concessions in the corners that look like they just realized they needed something and setup a folding table. Overall needs some work but this could be an amazing venue!"
"Attending as a student as the opportunity to be a great experience. The one caveat is where the band is positioned. The seats behind the net should go to UConn students! Add bleachers to the standing area under the big UConn sign for the band or put them off to the side. The building also has a crazy echo, so the band and music are much louder than you would expect. Bring earplugs/earmuffs for young children."
"9.10.23 This revue is just for the actual venue, not the game or team. It seems that the ice is used by non-Uconn teams, kids, etc. So that was news to me as I don't believe other Uconn sports teams rent out their soccer, softball fields, or basketball courts. But I could be wrong. I walked around this "new" venue, and it looks great. Lots of seating and it seems "cozy" so a great way to see the game."
"My experience with the band was much better than previous reviewers. No excuse for a brand new stadium to have seats angled the way they are here. Some, especially in the corners, are pointed more towards the goal line than center ice."
