"Just finished a project with David Cooke Plaster. Rob and the team were highly responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. The outcome of the project is beautiful! Looking forward to many more years of enjoying the pool with my family. I highly recommend them."
"David Cooke Plaster company was hired to restore our in ground pool. The scope of the work was to provide us with a new tile boarder below the coping and to redo the plaster inside of a custom gunite (concrete) pool with new plaster. At the same time, they were to repair a hairline crack in the shallow end of the pool as well, before the installation of the new plaster finish. The work seemingly came out flawlessly, or so we thought. 6 months after completion We noticed that the new tile was falling off on the deep end of the pool and some dark brown staining was appearing in the shallow end of the pool. After numerous calls and ultimately having to have our attorney contact them on our behalf we finally got David Cooke to return. They repaired the tile boarder that was failing and tried to acid wash the concrete to remove the stain. The repair done on the tile was less than acceptable Aesthetically as you could very clearly see it was a repair job, but as long as the tile was not falling off that was better than nothing. The staining would not lift from the shallow end of the pool. David Cooke stated that it was from the crack repair and that they do not warranty crack repairs so that they would not offer a resolution on this issue. Today, approx 1.5 years after The work was completed, my tile boarder is failing off all over the place in the repaired zones and the shallow end staining has gotten so prominent and dark that not a single person who sees it doesn’t ask, “what’s all over the bottom of your pool”. David Cooke. Has not offered any sort of resolution for us, other than to tell us we were cheap for using a traditional white plaster Instead of One of their premium multicolor finishings (pebble tech) which they state would have hidden the repair better. (The did not state this from the beginning however) The tile continues to fall off in the deep end, and they will not address it even though it is still under warranty. Both myself and my Attonrey have requested a resolution, to which we have been ignored. I am looking for advice from David Cooke, and I ask Them, if you were not confident in this repair and restoration, why did you offer it and take our money ? Additionally, how can we once and for all fix this pool and hide the repairs that were made."
"High end, top quality, pool company. The people to contact if you want the job to be done correctly."
"clean, neat and efficient. very respectful of the surrounding property and the crews on the job were particularly nice to work with. as an example they quickly moved their vehicle so my wife could get her car out of the driveway and even helped her with a heavy bundle when she returned from shopping."
