"Worst experience here. The shop teachers here treat me like a slave, when ever I don’t know something or make a minor mistake they would make a big deal out of it and would say mean, offensive and rude things about me to other students which is illegal in the state of Connecticut. The shop teachers never help, so if you actually want to learn and not be a slave then choose some other tech school in the area. Also the rules here are trash, the whole school would lose their privileges for something that this one kid would do, we can’t get on our phones if we have under a 70, so I think that Mrs. Dunn needs to chill. She needs to take care of her baby instead of taking our phones away and making all these trash rules which no one wants to follow bruhhhhhhh. Teachers here have lack of knowledge, they just sit in the classroom stare at us. The teachers here don’t even teach us anything."

"Terrible communication, terrible staff, terrible lunch food, school is beautiful and the shops are somewhat functional, only good thing i can say. The way the school deals with any situation is extremely poor especially dealing with bathroom problems. If you want a degree in a career pick any other tech school in the area"

"This is a great school, and now an even better school since the massive remodel. A technical school is a great non-traditional way to get an education and prepare for college in a specific field. I had a lot of fun at this school, I learned so much during the freshman year explorer phrase, from changing a tire and oil, to how HVAC things are done on sheet metal, using saws, doing hair, learning about resistors & micro boards, and machine tooled my own hammer. In my trade, we visited places and learned about solar power engineering, machine tool and plastic molding, interior design and even visited Subway Head Quarters to learn how the restaurants are designed. It was very memorable and I take all those things with me through life. I do recommend Technical High Schools."
