"I don’t go here and did not go here. But I work down the street at a gas station a lot of students come to. And I don’t know why but The medical students here are all extremely rude and disrespectful. There’s been maybe 3 of the medical students who actually treated me like a person. Some of the medical students even went as far as to make an employee at Dunkin next door cry because they were just so mean and nasty. I feel bad if th people are the ones going out and taking care of people in need. There doesn’t seem to be lessons in bedside manner or just human decency being taught. Legit, some of the worst people I have ever encountered."
"2023 lpn student dropped out because of inappropriate behavior of the staff, there was racist card playing in the school about who will pass test at semester or not so that you can pay extra money. The director of nursing and staff did not care about the well fair of the students except anything that will benefit the school. All that they care is this group go next group comes. I was a good student with good behavior, never missed school wanted to do the right thing driving long distance away to school with good grades why would I dropped from the school? You can not transfer Lincoln tech, lpn transfer scripts to any school find out."
"instructors only care about moving through book work. Left after a month & got enrolled somewhere more beneficial for my apprenticeship. Took out no student loans & still got hit with a $2,900 charge for not completing the course that isn’t elegible for dispute. Place is a joke & just like any other tech schools.. money is the main priority. Do not recommend. Especially for Electrical."
"I have worked with New Britain Lincoln Tech directly for over 12 years and I can honestly say that they are the best LPN program in the state. Our home care agency has hired dozens of professional nurses from this school and we could not thank Lincoln tech enough for all that they have done for us. For any potential student thinking about getting their LPN license, this is the place to go. They genuinely care about their faculty and students, and go out of their way to make sure every student is prepared for the world of nursing."
"I am current LPN student with about a year left of the program. I have nothing but good things to say about this school. First I would like to address the instructors. Every instructor I have had so far has been both supportive and informative. They have taught me not only the material and skills needed to be a good nurse but how to properly learn in an adult education setting. The instructors are always available for extra help and willing to work with each student to assist in their future success. I would like to now address the administration. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the administration here at the New Britain campus. As the voted class rep I have been able to discuss class issues or concerns directly with the assistant director of nursing, the director and campus president. This has helped on numerous occasions to better understand things that are done and help create any needed change for future classes. I can honestly say I personally had an issue with clinical grading in my first MOD but it was immediately addressed and changed before I even entered second MOD. I believe that administration truly does care about the success of the students. Lastly but probably most important I would like to address the many comments about how hard the work is. This program isn't easy but I know I don't want to be in the medical world with nurses that didn't have to work for their license. I can honestly say that if you put in the time, read the material, study the information you can successfully complete this program. I have always felt supported by the school as a whole when it comes to my academics. I have also gained the confidence to assist other students throughout the program with study help. If you are looking for a program that will properly prepare you for the world of nursing Lincoln Tech is right for you. If you are looking to start your nursing career and feel prepared for a bridge program, Lincoln Tech is also the best school for you."
