"Our experience was a big waste of time and has set us back several months. We now have to begin the approval and search process all over again. Robert Laperla is a HORRIBLE agent who had little or no knowledge of what he was showing. He was always late, 15 or more minutes for every appointment he schduled. He did NOT listen to our wants or needs and continued to show us properties that were nothing like we requested, from location to utilities he would say what he would do to make it work. BEWARE not all agencies or agents are equal."

"I did not use this agency the realtor Karlyn had listed a condo rental. When I called her she said “what’s your situation first time renting living in mom and pops basement” I was appalled to have her ask this question because I’m in my 30s with a family of my own. She stated I sounded so young not sure what I’m supposed to sound like? I then went to look at the listing and she again made the comment about having poor credit and living in mom and pops basement. I’m not sure where she got that from as again I don’t live in my parents basement and have immaculate credit and the same job for several years. And even if someone does as Berkshire Hathaway loves to say they are SO big on diversity and equality and fair housing for all. What a poor representation of your company. I never heard back regarding the rental even though I was over qualified. It doesn’t matter I would never want to be associated with an establishment who is completely judgmental because someone looks and sounds young. I even contacted the office manager of West Hartford and never heard back after a lengthy email. Just a poor experience all around. The office manager had the opportunity to address the situation or give a simple apology (which I’m sure she wouldn’t even mean) but chose to ignore me."
