La Petite Framboise

"We celebrated a birthday recently at La Petite Framboise and it was fantastic! It's a cozy, little restaurant with a lively atmosphere and french vibe. The staff were all very friendly and attentive (including the hostess who came by several times to make sure we were happy). We were served fresh crusty French bread with a side of fresh butter and pâté. Great drink selections and main menu has lots of delicious French classics to choose from. We had a hard time choosing, so we went with our server's recommendations and were so happy we did. Each dish was cooked to perfection and every bite packed with French flavor. If you are looking for a spot for good French food then you definitely need to give La Petite Framboise a try. We will definitely be back, hopefully to try their brunch menu next."

"Our favorite restaurant—just the most perfect place in every way. The food is the best we have had in any restaurant. It is tasty, with ample portions, fresh ingredients, and reasonable prices. It is elegant without being pretentious. The service is impeccable with immaculate cutlery, glasses, dishes and linens, and the best baguettes and pate. Water glasses are frequently refilled and they remember the names of our favorite cocktails when we are warmly greeted. The background music is lovely and at a level which doesn’t drown out conversation. Even the other patrons seem kind and considerate, not loud and entitled. The hosts Farid and Alessandra have created a gem of a French restaurant. No wonder it consistently wins the “Long Island’s Best French Restaurant” award. Outstanding in every way."

"Can’t say that I was terribly impressed by the taste of the food. Service and atmosphere definitely a 5 star but “delicious” would not be a word I could honestly describe my hanger steak. And at $47, I would want to be wowed by my food."
