"I went to the Middletown store for copy paper and a few other items. I had a couple gift cards to use for payment. Not only was the cashier not helpful, she was critical and condescending in her comments about about the gift cards, insisting that I scratch off the codes on both, even though I was using just 1 card. She did not bag or offer to bag my items, then rolled her eyes when I did it myself. She was a seasoned adult who should demonstrate more patience and compassion if she is working with customers. Otherwise keep her in the back. It will be some time before I shop at this store again."
"Love their TSA Precheck. In and out and nonwaiting at long airport security lines. Good store and not as many things locked as in Walmart. Quick in n out."
"I utilize Ipostal for my packages, and every time I go to Staples to pick up my packages I have a problem. Today I want to pick up one of my packages and I was told that it wasn't there, although USPS clearly states that it was delivered to one of the store employees. The store employee kanisha needs to be fired, she's extremely disrespectful and rude, she does not allow you to speak, she hung up the phone on me when I asked her to stop interrupting me and let me speak and to please lower her voice. She then gave me the wrong number to corporate, when I called back and requested the correct number she said that she's not giving me any number then what she already gave me. She really needs to be terminated from her position because she does not like it, I have never had a store employee disrespect and talk down to me in the manner in which that woman did. As stated before every time I go in to pick up my packages I have a problem, EVERYTIME and I pay for Ipostal services. The general manager Mike is awesome and always helps me, he called me and told me that he did not see anything in the mailbox, so I called back to inform him that the delivery note states that it was handed to a store employee. However, Mike was gone for the evening, so I had to speak to kanisha (that's the name she gave me) and it's very unfortunat that Staples hired such a poor quality individual to represent them in their store, she's everything that's wrong with customer service today."
"Went to Middletown store. There was an advertisement IN THEIR STORE for hammermill 10 ream paper for $50. The associate said his manager cannot honor that price because it's not in the app. I told him that you're advertising a price you cannot honor?! I believe that's illegal. He couldn't answer me. I told him to take down the advertisement cause they're ILLEGALLY ADVERTISING FAKE DEALS. He didn't even touch it but just stared at it. So i said ok fine. Since you're so adamant about your app can you honor the price in your app? He said NO! Why the hell not?! You were just arguing with me that if it is not in the app you can't honor. Now you're saying that if it's on the app you can't honor it as well? Where the hell is your logic?! Do you honor the app or not?! Do you honor your own advertisements or not? He recommended i buy through the App and pick it up. Horrible!! I'm going to Walmart!!"
"Cashier was super friendly, price checkers were helpful comparing items, had everything we needed. School supplies for two big kids for under $60 is pretty great! ($20 of that was an Ethernet cable)"
