"The food was very good. When one of our party tried to pay with a credit card a 3% surcharge was added. It was pointed out to the owner that in New York State a surcharge could not be added unless prominently posted. The manager would not remove the charges. He ran out and posted a sign to the window concerning a 3% surcharge. Fine restaurant; lousy inhospitable restaurant, customers lost."

"I have yet to eat anything less than spectacular here. The mussels, duck, and steak tartare in particular have been phenomenal, and it’s near impossible to pick a favorite dessert (but if I had to choose it’s the crème brûlée). I’m sure the drink menu is great too but I’ve never read it since Christoph always seems to know exactly what drink I’m in the mood for. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a cocktail or some food, for me there’s no better place to relax in Nyack."

"I could not recommend Brasserie D enough. This will be my go-to restaurant when I am looking for a nice date night with my wife. Every plate we had was absolutely excellent. While the price range is what you would expect at a higher-end restaurant, the portion sizes are large and much better value for your dollar than similar restaurants. The steak tartare was the stand out dish for me, it was seasoned perfectly. The service was excellent as well and our waiter was very attentive. I very much look forward to my next visit here!"
