"Best daycare around !!! Great teachers and owners are the best in making sure your kids are cared for . They’re always there !"
"My daughter is starting kindergarten but has been at Great Beginnings since being an infant. As a family, we have felt reassured every day she was there. This includes during the worst of COVID. The staff developed caring and attentive relationships with her and us. We couldn’t have wished for a more caring and enthusiastic preschool teacher in Mrs. Tina. My daughter and us will remember this place forever and always be grateful for how they helped her progress."
"Very disappointed in the level of care and professionalism provided by this preschool. The staff made no attempt to support my child or make reasonable accommodations for a child with an IEP. I repeatedly asked for suggestions or feedback so that we can model similar behavior at home for consistency but instead of any constructive feedback, all I received was complaints or suggestions for other care options. I have never before had a daycare/preschool suggest I have a relative watch my child or that I alter my job schedule. They made it clear that our child was a burden that they tolerated and no family should ever have that experience."
"After attending just 3 days, my daughter (and I) no longer want her attending. There doesn’t seem to be any organized or structured activity schedule. My daughter on her 3rd day there, sent me text messages to please come pick her up. When I got there I found her sitting at the table by herself while the instructor of that age group was sitting on the floor with two children, chatting and playing on their phones. Like what?! She is new there, doesn’t know anyone, and she’s an anxious, shy girl. No structure or plan for keeping the kids occupied, stimulated, or entertained. They’re left to fend for themselves and figure out what to do and who to play with. Which works too, but not for all kids. There should be some guidance and taking the lead from the adult in charge of that group. Helping to introduce new children to others and encouraging/helping them to join in."
"I would never recommend such an unprofessional business in my life. My sons “teacher” called the dcf Care line and made a false report on my child that doesn’t even go there. When I confronted this woman about her behavior and documenting our every move she lied about it and appeared nervous. It’s unfortunate that such inappropriate behavior is allowed in a child setting. Uncomfortable conversations will be held but apparently some of these people are not able to handle the difficulty when confronted. This teacher later than recanted her false allegation after realizing she was wrong. Such unprofessionalism..I cannot wait until I find a new daycare where we are respected and comfortable."
