"I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to express a concern regarding an interaction my partner had with a staff member at your Dollar Tree location on November 11th, 2023, at approximately 3:53 pm. My partner approached the store with genuine interest in potential job opportunities and respectfully inquired about any available positions. Unfortunately, the response he received was both unprofessional and misleading. The staff member not only displayed a discourteous attitude but also provided inaccurate information by stating that there were no job openings at that time. Subsequent to this interaction, I took the initiative to review your company's official website, where I discovered that there were indeed positions available. Such discrepancies between official listings and the information provided to potential applicants can lead to confusion and a lack of trust in the hiring process. As patrons of Dollar Tree and members of the community, we value transparency, fairness, and professionalism in all interactions. It is essential for the reputation and integrity of your establishment that accurate and courteous information is consistently provided to individuals expressing interest in employment opportunities. I kindly request that you address this matter internally to ensure that all staff members are trained to offer accurate and respectful information to individuals inquiring about job openings. Additionally, I believe it would be beneficial to emphasize the importance of maintaining a positive and professional demeanor when representing Dollar Tree to the public."
"I’m in here all the time. Today, the line was all the way down the snack aisle. Took me 20 minutes to check out 5 items. Those hard working ladies did a phenomenal job keeping the store together, the lines moving, and were very professional towards the complainers with nothing nice to say. Bravo, staff!"
"You can find a lot of good things here. Everything in the store is $1.25....clean store, nice place."
"My first time in since they opened, 12/7 We got to the register and was told by a female employee that they were not accepting cash. My boyfriend...who was not rude in ANYWAY & was almost joking...but still asking if they didn't have a cash box & could do paper recipts? I worked in retail 10 years, when something like that happened we had a cash box, we wrote a recipt. If i hear the response corporate doesnt want that id be surprised because they never wanted us to pass on a sale... The lady was i felt rude she walked away before she even finished speaking & all she said was...I hung a sign. It was more her shear rudness that got me, I pray she is NOT running the store. The appearance of the store was very disheveled fir a brand new store...she appeared to be the only employee i saw. Retail is tough...it takes a special kind of person...she is someone that if i go back and see i will try to avoid rather then ask for help...and thats exactly how i think she wants it...dont talk to me dont bother me. I give it a 1 star because for a brand new store in town I expected them to have some friendly helpful people....this woman couldnt even give me the respect to not turn her back & walk away while she was still speaking..the employye fits the brand perhaps"
"Just stopped at the dollar store to quickly pick up something. I was the only customer in the store. I had to wait while the cashier spoke to another employee. The only thing the cashier said to me was "just a minute". She never looked at me and continued speaking to the employee as she checked me out. I forgot my bag. She slip my item, unbagged, over to me and never asked if I needed a bag. I generally ignore things like this but this cashier was just plain rude."
