"pretty sure that little old female employee racially profiled me at self check out on Tuesday. She didn't even let me ring up more than two items before she inserted herself into my transaction and started reviewing my work and the items and their prices. It felt really uncalled for considering I was at SELF checkout and did not request any assistance. She just assumed I'm black and I must be trying to steal something. The whole experience made me wholly uncomfortable and I'm not sure I will ever go back here which is a shame because I can usually find great items at this location."

"Lots of inventory. All neatly arranged on shelves. Easy to read price tags. Several cash registers with personal assistance. Lots of carts. Wide aisles. Restrooms available. Helpful staff. Fun shopping experience."

"This architecture reminds me of former Circuit City, cuz it used to be one before that whole entire company went out of business. There's a lot of merchandise although those shelves get a bit messy in some areas. The employees are nice. Self-checkouts available at this store. I've found a book that I liked for that reasonable price. Not too bad though not as interesting as most other Savers I've been to in CT. Savers and Goodwill are only within a minute or two from each other on the same route, which is sorta ironic."

"Got many good items there. There are still plenty of good deals there and new all the time so worth a visit. They are a for profit corporation (Goodwill is a nonprofit with jobs and training so donate there! Gotta love Savers business plan: get all your merchandise free, get it delivered free, make up a price,anything really, form private corporation and become a billionaire by hinting it's all for charity! (Edit: Savers in past 6 months have had audio and print announcements that they are a "for-profit" corp. - kudos!) And yes, I shop there often for the treasure hunt! Got this yesterday. 30 % senior discount on Tuesday age 55 and up!! Ask at checkout to join savers club...20% next trip after spending 100 bucks...phone number sign in. Cheers!
