"I am a former employee of Burlington stores in Farmington Connecticut as I enjoyed my time as a loss prevention worker it had its up and downs but I would like to formerly make a complaint against my ex supervisor Isabella who in my eyes was a micromanaging nightmare she was very incapable of managing the store with the many thefts that occurred and took place on her watch was a disgrace She often would use and abuse her authority and try to bully me as I stood up to her and told her how I felt I am diabetic and oftentimes was dehydrated and was told I cannot drink beverages and and was on many occasions disrespected by her She was in my option a bully and a person who would try to manipulate her employees I’d she could I am expressing my most sincere opinion about how unprofessional and uncompromising she has been as a manager she lacked people skills and on times would share rude and inappropriate comments about African American people as if sh was above anyone who was black American She was just difficult to deal with I tolerated so much disrespect from her until it was time for me to quit She told me hey if u wanna quit u can leave as if I never mattered she constantly tried to make feel like I was a problem with her She constantly gave me a problem she had me on the schedule as a part time employee for 5 hours a week as a part time employee I thought I was supposed to work 16 -24 hours but she scheduled me for 5 hours for 4 months I was treated bad by Isabella and am making a formal complaint against her Just so her nonsense can stop once and for all Thanks for your time Hope something will be done yo shape the store up She was in the store last week and made a inappropriate comment about a black person I guess she was making fun of saying how she wish she had pepper spray yo spray the black guy with I was so hurt as a black person working with someone like her was the worst working experience ever Thank you I"

"I would like to express my experience at Burlington stores in Farmington ct by the West farms mall I have never encountered such disrespect by a manager Isabella she was very unprofessional and in my opinion a racist towards black and Hispanic people her words were very harsh and she was very disrespectful to me I will never shop at Burlington coat factory near West farms mall again due to Isabella the store manager made me feel less than watching me and her cruel remarks as if I were being profiled as one one of my many experiences abd encounters in the store she is clearly not fit to be a manager she was caught and viewed being very rude to one if her workers in the front located by the door area talking to him and treating him as if he was her child she clearly embarrassed him and showed no respect for him as an employee of Burlington stores I would definitely think twice before I shop at Burlington stores with a prejudice and unprofessional person as she was to many people I seen on many occasions There is many thefts and unprofessional attitudes in this store Worst shopping experience ever what a disgrace Never will shop there ever again"

"I wanted a locked item. I waited in line at the register, got to the front to have some help. They got the item and told me I had to get back in line to buy the product. Why should I go through the line twice? I don't understand."

They actually have more cashiers at the front helping people than anywhere else. Management is the key!!!"
