"I was so excited to walk into this store. It looked so beautiful but unfortunately the second I walked in I was met with nothing but disgust and attitude by the woman working. I have lived here my whole life and have never been treated so poorly. I was immediately asked "can I help you" in an irritated tone. I immediately felt as tho I had a Done something wrong by simply walking into the store. I was so uncomfortable but tried not to over think it. I said "no I'm just excited to look around I've never been able to come down here because when I walk down here I'm working"(dog walking) so cannot enter stores.I was ignored when I said this which made me feel even more uncomfortable as I was just trying to lighten the mood and discomfort. I then found these posters I adored but could not tell if they were tapestry or poster like. I was afraid to inspect by touching with the cold irritated vibe of the worker so I asked "is this a poster like material". After a huge sigh and look of distaste she said "I'm not sure was poster material is but yes they are posters". It was after this there was no question I was not welcome in this store and any interaction was going to be rude, cold and make me uncomfortable. I apologized for not knowing if it was a tapestry or poster and was ignored. I then left with my daughter leaving behind a harsh glare. It was honestly the most upsetting interaction I've ever had- in front of my daughter no less which made it so much worse. This is my first time leaving a review ever and it's truly only because I felt so uncomfortable and disrespected and not even comfortable enough in the moment to say anything. I'm 24 I'm not asking for much but I definitely feel as tho I was bullied out of that store and it left me with knots in my stomach. I just ask to please do better. You have a lovely store and a community who wants to support and share that. This day in town was supposed to be highlight of my week and fun girls day with my daughter. It's just so disappointing."

"This is such a beautiful shop! They have so many lovely things! Crystals, natural perfumes, grow a tree kits, liquor and wine infusions, home decor and everything in between! Also, the customer service was wonderful! Definitely a must do to place when you're in Downtown Mystic!"
